Everything You Need to Know About the Cadillac LYRIQ

Cadillac announced its first all-electric model, the 2023 LYRIQ, last year, and since then, it's been one of the most hotly anticipated EVs on the market. The RWD variant of the vehicle is powered by GM's Ultium Platform and offers a high-performance luxury experience with an estimated 340 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque. Here's everything you need to know about it.

Cadillac is no stranger to luxury vehicles, but the LYRIQ takes things to a whole new level. The all-electric SUV is packed with cutting-edge features that are sure to impress even the most discerning buyer. Next-generation variable Regen on Demand technology allows the driver to capture energy normally lost during deceleration, and One-Pedal Driving makes stop-and-go traffic a breeze. The LYRIQ is also equipped with Super Cruise – Cadillac's hands-free driver assistance system – which uses GPS mapping data to enable hands-free driving on over 200,000 miles of enabled roads.

And what to say about the AWD version featuring two electric motors? This setup not only allows for quick acceleration and sporty handling but also provides improved traction and stability in all weather conditions. Furthermore, the horsepower climbs to an even 500 while the torque figure reaches 450 lb-ft.

But the LYRIQ isn't just about performance – it's also got range. According to Natural Resources Canada, the 12-module, 100-kWh Ultium battery pack will offer the RWD LYRIQ a range of up to 502 km on a single charge. In addition, the LYRIQ will be able to get up to 122km of range in 10 minutes of charge time on a DC Fast charger.

Of course, no luxury SUV would be complete without an impressive infotainment system, and the LYRIQ does not disappoint. The vehicle's centrepiece is the 33-inch curved OLED display, which spans the entire dash and provides access to all of the vehicle's functions. The infotainment system is fully customizable so that drivers can tailor it to their individual needs and preferences. And for those times when you need to keep your eyes on the road, there's an augmented reality head-up display that projects key information onto the windshield.

The 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ is shaping up to be one of the most impressive luxury SUVs on the market. With its cutting-edge features, luxurious interior, and sleek design, it's sure to turn heads wherever it goes. We can't wait to see what this all-electric SUV has in store for us when it hits dealerships in 2023.
