Exploring the Different Trims of the 2023 Cadillac XT5

The Cadillac XT5 is an impressive luxury crossover that offers plenty of features and options to choose from. Four trims are available for the 2023 model year: Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, and Platinum. Each trim offers something unique regarding the powertrain, exterior design elements, interior amenities, and safety features. Let’s take a closer look at what each trim has to offer.

Luxury Trim

The Luxury trim has a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive as standard. It also has a 9-speed automatic transmission with tap shift control for added performance. You'll find LED headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, and power side mirrors with integrated turn signals on the outside. As for technology and safety features, the Luxury trim comes with the Cadillac Smart System suite of safety and driver assistance features, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning and, of course, wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto capability.

Premium Luxury Trim

The Premium Luxury trim has the same features as the Luxury trim plus added extras such as a 3.6-litre V6 engine with all-wheel drive capability. It also adds in the cabin first- and second-row leather seating surfaces and the Cadillac user experience, which includes Rotary Infotainment Controller with jog functionality, embedded navigation and Bose Performance Series 14-speaker surround audio system. Furthermore, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are standard.

Sport Trim

The Sport trim takes things up another notch by adding even more performance to this already powerful vehicle. The Sport trim comes standard with a 3.6 litre V6 engine and all-wheel drive capability but adds on performance upgrades like an active dampening suspension system which allows you to customize your driving experience depending on road conditions or personal preference; Brembo high-performance brakes for improved stopping power and 20" alloy wheels to only name those.
